ABOUT THE [SIC] SENSE

The SIC Sense Sketch Comedy Troupe is kicking off our 10th season in Phoenix in January 2017. We opened our new space at 1902 E McDowell in July of 2016, and performed eight shows that year. Our troupe is known as "not for the easily offended" and we write new material for each show featuring troupe members (The Sickies) of close to 50 local actors, singers, and comedians. The current creative director for the troupe is Bill Dyer, and troupe founder Franc Gaxiola still directs. We have shows scheduled for January (Resolutions), February (Sweet Nothings), April, June, August, October, and December in 2017.

ABOUT DANGERVILLE

Michelle Edwards and Jose Gonzalez have been performing together as Dangerville since 2005. Accompanying themselves on piano and triangle, they create musicals that straddle the line between sexy and ridiculous. Dangerville’s been featured at the The Torch Theatre, ColdTowne Theater in Austin, the Phoenix Improv Festival, and The Tempe Improv's Wonderama Theater.

ABOUT TRUCKER'S PRAYER

Trucker's Prayer is a two-person improvised show starring husband and wife duo Rick and Gretchen Larsen. Their show is an comedic exploration of a single relationship through a series of moments. This show focuses on finding joy and wonder in both ordinary and ridiculous situations.
