Submissions have been open a few weeks, and we realized we had a few more bases to cover. So, we've added a few new FAQs to help make the submissions process as smooth and easy as possible. Here's what we added:
Q: I produce a concept show I’d like to submit to the festival. How may I submit to the festival?
A Awesome! For your show to be considered for the festival, please use our submission form. In the field that asks if you produce any concept shows, please provide a complete description of the show. Please don’t forget to include any web links to your show. We may contact you for additional information.
If your show is accepted into the festival, we will work with you to help you book performers in town that best suit your show.
Q: I’m part of a comedy duo/trio/team. How may we submit to the festival?
A: We welcome comedy teams to apply to Bird City. To apply, simply use our submission form and make sure to list all members of your team and to include a complete list of your act. Please keep in mind that all members of your team should be able to attend in the event of acceptance.
Q: May comedy musical acts submit to the festival?
Absolutely! We’d love to see musical acts at Bird City. To submit, please use the normal submission form and include a complete description of your act in the form for consideration.
Q: My headshot is larger than the maximum file size of 10 MB. How may I send it to you?
Please email any large headshots to firstname.lastname@example.org. Make sure to include your name in email subject.
